Assumption Parish Catholic School integrates the Roman Catholic Faith through all aspects of school life. It follows the Catholic Church teachings and endeavors to instill Christian values based on the Gospels. It strives to prepare students in their faith formation and develop them into individuals who serve others. Assumption provides many opportunities for religious growth through service, prayer services, daily prayer, and the Sacraments.
Prayer life and participation in the Sacraments is incorporated into student life. Prayer is conducted at the beginning of the day, at lunch, and at the end of each day. Daily Religion class includes prayers, Bible Scripture Readings, and discussions. Students attend Mass weekly where they have opportunities to sing in the choir and participate in scripture readings. Students also participate in prayer devotionals throughout the year including Advent and Lenten prayer services, the Living Rosary, May Crowning, and Stations of the Cross. Assumption welcomes parents and families to participate in school masses and prayer services as well.
Assumption Parish School has a strong, loving community that works together to bring the Good News of Jesus to one another and to the children in their care.
