Drama

The Drama elective is offered to our 7th and 8th graders, who work during the first half of the year on Improvisation, Memorization, and Characterization through a variety of projects and exercises.  These endeavors include Reader's Theatre, games, script writing, and memorization and presentation of a monologue.  They also participate in the acting portion of the school's Christmas Program.  The second half of the year is dedicated to putting on a full-length play performance in the late Spring.

Missoula Children's Theatre will be here February 6-10, 2023!

We also offer a theater experience to all our students through the Missoula Children’s Theatre.  Missoula Children's Theatre Program is a gift to the school each year by our Home and School group. The Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) instructors spend an entire week with our students preparing them for a two performances. The MCT is an amazing program because it not only introduces our students to the theatrical arts, but incorporates team work, leadership and problem solving into this week long activity.
